Harper's Bazaar promised us all a new look for 2012 and it has finally arrived in the form of the March 2012 issue. The cover star for the new streamlined issue is Gwyneth Paltrow wearing Anthony Vaccarello and this could be her best cover to date; it's just a shame you wouldn't know it was even her without the caption beside saying 'Gwyneth Revealed'!
I actually love the fact that you can't see her face though. It's rare that a magazine actually chooses a cover like this - in fact, has any glossy ever done this? Harper's Bazaar really are pushing the boat out with this cover shot by Terry Richardsonn but unfortunately for most, this is the subscribers copy and the newsstand cover is less than impressive in my opinion.
There is nothing special about this cover at all apart from the obvious redesign. I think this pose is very samey samey and I just wish they'd gone in the same direction with the newsstand cover that they did with the subscribers.
