JENNIFER LAWRENCE COVERS W MAGAZINE

When I heard that Jennifer Lawrence was to cover of the October issue of W magazine I really did have high expectations. Having now seen the cover though, I'l admit, I'm disappointed. The Hunger Games star is covered in feathers - very black swan esque - and this over the top look really doesn't suit her at all. That being said, you have to give her and W some credit for trying out such an extreme and out there look.

Jennifer was photographed by Tim Walker and you can see her full editorial here. I have to say, the editorial - although full of feathers - isn't all that bad, there are some really great shots in fact.

JESSICA BIEL COVERS 'W' MAGAZINE

When I heard that Jessica Biel had gotten the April cover of 'W' magazine, i'll admit, I was disappointed. However, when I saw the cover my disappointment soon turned into happiness as it's a really stunning cover and editorial.

Jessica wears a Louis Vuitton swimsuit on the cover and this beach theme follows through in the editorial which shows her lounging by the pool. It's a very high-fashion editorial that has been done in such a way that it looks so effortless.

Jessica's interview shows her talking about her girl-on-girl action in Total Recall to her childhood antics;

She had Barbies: “I did, but it was always, “Let’s play sex with Barbies!” My Barbies were usually naked. Once, I took their heads off, cut their hair, drew on their short, spiky hair with some markers, then stuck the heads on Christmas lights. Every year, we’d string our tree with those Barbie heads. It looked demonic. My parents were so cool—they saw it as a form of self-expression.”

We are left wondering though; why no mention of her recent engagement to Justin Timberlake?

Kate Moss Covers W Magazine

Well isn't this a lovely surprise! Kate Moss poses for two covers for the March issue of W Magazine - Light Moss and Dark Moss. Both covers were shot by Steven Klein; the dark cover shows Kate wearing an all black Gucci ensemble whilst the light cover shows her wearing a Vera Wang dress.

If the covers weren't quite enough for this month, the inside editorial is positively stunning and you can see it here - prepare yourself!

Looking at both these covers I can't decided which I like better. I think I like 'Dark Moss' best but then I look again at 'Light Moss' and find myself stunned at the whole styling and appearance; light, dark, light dark!? I think I might just end up buying both! Which cover is your favourite?

Nicki Minaj Covers W

Nick Minaj covers the November 2011 issue of W in an 18th Century editorial for the 'arts edition'. I'll admit, I'm not a fan of Nicki's at all, but I have to admit that this concept is brilliant! She has been transformed into four different period women with the help of couture gowns and vintage jewellery and photographer Francesco Vezzoli.
