BELLA HEATHCOTE, ZOE KRAVITZ & JUNO TEMPLE COVER NYLON

Umm...is it bad that I don't recognise either of these three 'Young Hollywood' actresses? Well, after searching them on Google (because I'm cool like that) I discovered that I do in fact recognise Juno Temple from her role in Wild Child (her cover shot looks nothing like her!) but other than that I am completely clueless...so this is today's Young Hollywood eh? 

The actresses are wearing a mix of H&M, Bogetta Veneta and Calvin Klein for this rainbow coloured shoot, shot by Marvin Scott Jarrett. For me this cover is mediocre; nothing really stands out and makes me want to buy it...One thing I must say though is that I love the inside shoot, the styling is just fantastic! This however is not a swaying point for me and I don't thin this issue will be coming home with me this month.

ZOOEY DESCHANEL DOUBLE TAKE

Recognise this shot of Zooey Deschanel? Yep, it's the exact same shot as the one used on last months issue of Company magazine! 

I might be a tad slow with this discovery but I was trawling through past issues of magazines and spotted the 2008 Nylon cover and literally did a double take at the photo! I did not know that magazines could actually reuse past cover photos from other magazines. This is terrible in my opinion, surely it wouldn't have been that much effort to take new photos? 

I realise that this is an uber random post but I just wanted to share this with all of you (even though a lot of people probably already realised this!)

FREIDA PINTO COVERS NYLON MAGAZINE

For Nylon's April Anniversary cover we see Freida Pinto wearing the up and coming sportswear-chic trend with a crop top, Hooded jumper and a leather jacket. This is a completely new look for Freida and although this cover isn't really anything new or different for Nylon, it's still a great cover for her and the trend.

Lily Collins Covers Nylon

I honestly had to look twice at this cover; is it just me or did anyone else think Nina Dobrev had landed two Nylon covers in a row?! Well everyone, sorry to disappoint (or not in some cases) but the March issue of Nylon actually has been taken by 'Mirror Mirror' star Lily Collins.

This cover is okay; but nothing really jumps out at me and makes me say 'wow'. I think it's definitely a typical Nylon cover; bright but simple. I will say though that Lily's editorial is a bit more surprising with two beach shots and then two completely different studio shots. 

What do you think of Lily Collins' cover? Who would you rather have seen cover the march issue of Nylon?

Nina Dobrev Covers Nylon

When I heard Nina had landed the cover of Nylon I was so excited!! She has shot to fame very quickly considering she has only really had one major role but I think she is a brilliant actress and well deserving of the attention she's received.

Nina is wearing a McQueen jacket and Emporio Armani shorts and I just love this cowboy-esque look which is also seen throughout the editorial inside with a 'messy' vintage inspired shoot. This cover was shot by Marvin Scott Jarret and I have to say is one of the best covers for me in a long time!

 I have never bought an issue of Nylon before but I am definitely going to be getting this issue!

What are your thoughts on the February cover. Does Nina's look work for you?
