OUTFIT | AZTEC & OMBRE

jacket, dress & boots (via ebay): topshop, belt: primark, necklace: warehouse

I thought I'd step outside and take advantage of the nice (ish) weather today. It's funny that it's gone from snowing and raining yesterday to bright, if not a little cold, sunshine today; I wonder how long this will last. Anyway, I bought this dress a few weeks ago from Topshop and I absolutely love it. The print almost looks although the whole dress is knitted and the back (although not pictured) has a lovely cut out detail. I wore it with a belt to break up the print a bit and then paired it with my leather jacket that I pretty much wear with everything!

Now, I'm not usually one for dainty little necklaces, I much prefer larger more statement pieces, but with the print of this dress I thought this feather necklace was the perfectly subtlety. One thing that you may or may not of noticed is that my hair is different and thats because I decided to get it ombre after feeling rather uninspired by my previous highlighted hair. I am over the moon with how it turned out, and curly, I love how natural it looks - I'm yet to be a fan of it when it's straight though.

OUTFIT | RED LIP & FAUX FUR

coat: given to me, shirt jeans and necklace: topshop, boots: ebay, watch: michael kors, lips: rimmel kate moss 107, nails: barry m 'racing green' and
saffron '07' glitter

Today was the first time I have ever worn a red lipstick and I actually quite liked it. I've never been daring enough to wear any bold colour but a few weeks ago I bought the Rimmel Kate Moss 107 lipstick that soooo many people have and today thought; yes I'm going to wear this. It actually looks a lot lighter in these photos, it's a very deep red shade, hopefully I'll get a post up on it soon so you can see the actual colour!

This outfit is one I rather like, and I finally managed to photograph my fur coat on, mission accomplished! I worn this military-esque khaki shirt, black jeans my beloved chelsea boots that now have glued together soles - sad times - and a gold and cream skull necklace which I love so much. I think this outfit is quite simple but the lips are quite bold so I thought it worked well.

I'm off home tomorrow and am currently preparing myself for the lonely four hour drive - not looking forward to it at all! At least it means I'll be home and can help put up the Christmas decorations on Friday!

OUTFIT | RACING GREEN & NEON

jumper: topshop, skirt: redherring, boots: ebay (topshop), bracelet: pandora, nails: barry m 'racing green'

Words cannot express how difficult it is to take outfit photos in this terrible daylight we are having! Hopefully over Christmas the lighting in my photos will be better as I'll be at home, may even try some outside shots. Anyway, this is the outfit I wore today, I love this neon yellow jumper, and as with yesterday's outfit, it has stud detailing which I love. I paired it with this 'wet-look' skirt from Redherring which is somewhere I never usually buy from, but I saw this and knew I had to have it. It's just something a bit different to the usual black skater skirt. I also wore my black faux fur coat too but it didn't photograph well at all today!

Today has been a mentally exhausting day, it started with a shorthand exam that I felt went quite well which is good, then I had a mock exam and then a two hour lecture on media law. I don't think I have concentrated as much I have today in a long time. Phew! Tomorrow should be a quiet day though, just one class and then packing to go home on Thursday! Eeeeek!

OUTFIT | STUDDED COLLAR

jacket and shirt: primark, jeans: topshop, boots: ebay (topshop), earrings: earnest jones, nails: models own 'nude beige'

My aim this week is to do a 'five days, five outfits' kind of thing which I think will be fun! I'm not promising that I'll be able to do it as I'm going home on Thursday (four hour drive!), but I will try The first day commences with this ensemble, and I have decided from this that I would like to burn this jacket! Walking round university today I spotted six people wearing the exact same jacket, not even a variation, the EXACT same one which is terrible! I realise it's Primark but I didn't think that nay people would have it! A few people wearing it were even sat near me in lectures...eeeeek!

That aside, I thought I'd pair the jacket with this spotty shirt as I haven't worn it before (having had it for a fair few months) and really like the black and khaki combination. The reason I bought this shirt was actually for the collar which I love, I really do like the spike/stud trend that has been around for a while now; I'm a fan.

OUTFIT | TOPSHOP 'EYE HAVE MY EYE ON YOU'

jacket, top, jeans, boots & eye ring: topshop, peace ring: kukee, nails: barry m 'teal'

This is slightly different to my usual outfit posts as there isn't a full length shot, simply because I looked back through them and hated them all! I did however, really like how these photos turned out so thought I'd still do the outfit post.

As you can probably tell from the title and my totally original added touch, this whole outfit, minus one of the rings, is from Topshop and it honestly makes me wonder if I own anything not from there! This is a very plain outfit because I felt the rings and nail polish stood out enough, so with them I just paired this grey asymmetric t-shirt with my leather jacket, black leigh jeans and chelsea boots for a very simple grey and black look. This outfit was actually from yesterday and the weather was grey and horrible so I thought it was very fitting - I also wore a scarf but took that off when not outside!

Anyway, this week has just been filled with scrap-booking (for one of my modules) and essay planning and writing; so a productive week on the whole. I'm in countdown mode now though for Christmas - or at least when Christmas break starts - two weeks then I can go home!!
